The following assignments are due Friday October 23, 2015
Pretend you are Thomas / Eleanor and you are writing a letter home. Who would you address this letter to and what would you say?
- Complete illustrations for Chapters 1-5 only – either as slides or in a book format. Send your slides to [email protected]
- Oral presentation: You cannot use notes! You must know your topic! You can show pictures if you like but these pictures cannot have descriptions. Be prepared to answer questions about your topic.
- Some topic ideas for your presentation: Knights Code of Chivalry, Childbirth and Mortality Rates in the Middle Ages, Crusades, Pilgrimage, Food, Clothing, Housing, Weapons, Mercenaries, English Channel Ferryboats, etc.
- Write a journal entry starting with Chapter 5. Boys will write in the voice of Thomas; girls in the voice of Eleanor (2 – 3 sentences are ok but they must be in your best English!)
- You will need to start a map with the places they traveled. You can do this on paper or add it to your slide show.
